About this site

What it is about… and not.

I create jewelry for (almost) a living since a few years. I am also an apprentice Rver and future fulltimer (in RV lingo, a fulltimer is someone who lives at least 150 days a year in their RV). My blog is about my journey into making and selling jewelry while adopting a nomadic lifestyle. Both full time. It is about achieving a dream of freedom, fun and lifestyle choices. Not about RV tips, selecting the best generator or where to boondock. However, I will definitely share photos of the places I visit.

I love making jewelry… what else can I say?

My jewelry is very casual, comfortable, easy to maintain and is made to be enjoyed everyday. I enjoy producing work for the 40-and-some fine crafts galleries that represent my work in the United States and in France, but I also like to wander and create pieces around a particular crystal I found, a precious metal or a special theme. And this is what you will find on this site where I am in the process of launching an online store.

My blog is for everyone who dream of another and better life for themselves.

My blog is for everyone, fellow artists, aspirant artists, seasoned explorers, travelers in slippers, people who love my work and people who don’t know me. I hope that you will enjoy reading about my journey and I am sincerely interested into your questions and comments.

I am not a know-it-all, I do not have any fancy art diploma, I do not make millions. I am just a regular person here to share the story of her quest to freedom. I do not claim to be a writer either. In fact, English is not my first language… I write like I speak (well, without ze funny accent) and I hope that my sometimes clumsy use of the language will not stop you from enjoying yourself browsing my pages.

If I can do it, you can do it too!

I often meet people who tell me “oh, you are so creative, I would never be able to do that” or “oh, you are so lucky to go travel in your RV, I dream I could do the same”. And all I have to say is that I do not consider myself as especially talented or lucky. My secret is simple. If I want something, I work hard for it. Maybe it does not work well the first time around and that’s OK. I try again and again until I find my way. My ultimate goal is to inspire people to follow their dreams. If I can do it, believe me, you can do it too.

XOXO
Patricia
